SEMMERING / STUHLECK

At an elevation of 700 - 1640 m, the World Cup resort Stuhleck/Semmering offers over 24 km of slopes for all levels of difficulty, 10 skiing lifts - among them Austria's longest chair lift - and a snowboarding fun park at just 1 ½ hours' train journey from Vienna!

The fun park for snowboarders features a rainbow rail, a kinked rail, a straight rail and a wall ride as well as 2 kickers. Of course, snowboarders are welcome to make use of all other slopes!

All slopes are well prepared and are primed daily. Snow canons do, what the weather sometimes doesn't. A racing slope with permanent stop watch facilities is open to all. A night slope allows for skiing after sunset. A baby lift caters to the youngest skiers.

There are facilities for snow-tubing, sledging and tobogganing, a sauna, Bavarian curling, indoor tennis courts and other sports facilities. During the season, many special events and competitions attract skiing and snowboarding fans.

Semmering/Stuhleck can be reached by train. Board the train at Vienna Südbahnhof and get off at 'Spital/Semmering'.
