German Courses - Course Participants
1. What is the average age of
students on the course?
Sixty percent of our students are university students aged between 17 and
30 seeking to improve their German language skills and awareness of Austrian
culture as a supplement to their academic studies. Thirty percent are already
working, with ages ranging from 25 to 65. Eight percent are business managers
and executives of different nationalities. Two percent are retired and wish
to improve their German and familiarize themselves with Austrian culture.
We hold separate courses for juniors aged 12 - 17 years during the summer
months at our summer school. For young adults, we can recommend our holiday
course 16 - 19 years.

2. Where do the other participants
of ActiLingua courses come from?
ActiLingua Academy is attended by people from more than 30 countries - all
continents are represented! Most students come from Europe, many are from
Asia and North and South America, and an ever-increasing number come to us
from Australia and Africa. Our academy therefore boasts a full spectrum of
nations. Students’ different native countries and cultures go a long way to
enlivening discussion in our international learning groups.
