The intention of this course is to improve general German language skills and communication both as a speaker and instructor, to be used in educational, social and vocational contexts and learn more about Austrian history and culture.

The Standard Course classes teach general German, and the teacher training provides insight into up-to-date teaching methods and materials. In the evenings and on the weekends you will discover the Austrian culture together with ActiLingua. With our cultural programme you will visit interesting sights of Vienna after classes and experience the Austrian culture and German language in varied activities

German Course + Teacher Training

A combined programme for educators and teachers who would like to strengthen their German language skills and extend their methodological and didactic competencies.

  • 29 lessons per week
  • 20 lessons German course
  • 4 lessons teacher training
  • 5 lessons applied regional studies and learning activities
  • 1 lesson = 45 minutes
  • Duration: 1 or 2 weeks
  • Level: from B1
  • International groups
  • Approximately 8–12 participants

Starting Dates

Courses generally start every Monday, except on the starting dates of the German Teacher Training programme. Course start on follwing dates is NOT possible:

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday | 09:00–12:15

  • Additional learning activities and applied regional studies take place in the afternoons.

Language Learning & Teacher Training

The programme combines communicative language learning with contemporary approaches to German as a foreign and second language.

Participants improve their German language skills in an international learning environment while simultaneously exploring methodological and didactic aspects of modern language teaching.

The programme follows a participant-centred and interactive approach and is designed for practical application in educational contexts.
