Host family

You stay with a host family in their own home. Accommodation in host families is definitely the best way of practising your German and getting to know Austria and its people outside of the classroom. Host families can be childless couples, parents with schoolchildren or older people whose grown-up children have already left home.
Availability: year-round
Meals: You may choose from use of the kitchen, substantial breakfast only or half board with a three-course lunch or evening meal.
Facilities: You have your own single or twin room. You share the bathroom and the kitchen with your host family.

ActiLingua Residence

Especially well-equipped apartments with twin or single rooms in newly-renovated art deco building typical for Vienna!

Apartment

You are accommodated in a well-maintained flat, often shared with other ActiLingua students.
Availability: year-round
Meals: The use of kitchen is included in the price. The flat contains all the usual utensils and crockery.
Facilities: Single or double rooms with shared bathroom and kitchen. Most flats are also equipped with their own washing machine and TV.

Student residence

You have your own room in a student residence with a favourable location.
Availability: July, August
Meals: There is a kitchen where you can use the hotplates and refrigerator free of charge – in summer, students need to bring their own crockery and utensils. You can also choose breakfast or half-board.
Facilities: Single or Twin rooms. Most rooms include a shower, toilet and telephone.

Student residence 16-19

Students aged 16 and above who wish to spend their summer in Vienna in the company of people of their age group are welcome on our Courses for Adults. The Holiday Course (16-19 years) is especially suitable. The Student Residence for 16-19 year olds offers a young and international atmosphere in the heart of Vienna.
Availability: July
Meals: Breakfast and dinner (half-board) are available in the restaurant of the residence.
Facilities: Shared rooms (2-3 beds) with a shower, toilet and telephone.

ActiLingua Hotel*** / Hotel ****

You stay in a neat and well-kept 3-star hotel or 4 star hotel.
Availability: year-round.
Facilities: Single or Twin rooms with bathroom, TV, and telephone. Breakfast is available for an additional charge.
