German Language Institute - The Organisation:

Since opening in 1988, the ActiLingua German language school has already gained a world-wide reputation as a language school with a successful range of courses, an ideal learning environment and modern teaching equipment. Between classes, students can meet at the ActiLingua multimedia library which houses German-language literature and the latest issues of newspapers and magazines. You can watch videos, listen to language cassettes or work at the computer. Courses also take place at the ActiLingua annexe.

German language courses @ ActiLingua Academy for adults aged 16+: Our language school is located in the heart of Vienna (city map) and caters for adult learners. It is open all year and equipped with the latest in educational technology like a multi-media library where you can watch videos, listen to language cassettes or work on the computer.

German language courses @ ActiLingua summer school for juniors: The summer school for young people from 12-16 years is located in the Vienna-Centre in the midst of a wonderful park. In our summer school we offer a German course, residence, accommodation and an exciting cultural and leisure programme as well as 24 hour supervision by our highly qualified teachers.

World-wide recognition/International Accreditations:

ActiLingua Academy is a well established language school. We are a member of major professional certification agencies such as IALC (International Association of Language Centers). The school is internationally accredited through American Universities and the Swedish Ministry of Education. ActiLingua is member of the national organization CAMPUS AUSTRIA.

Examination centre:

The ActiLingua German language school is an official examination centre for the Austrian German Diploma OSD (Österreichisches Sprachdiplom). After completion of an exam preparation course, you may enter for internationally recognized examinations.
