Vienna is ideal for golfing: its mild climate and beautiful scenery
of Austria's capital all contribute to an enjoyable holiday for
the passionate golfer.
ActiLingua offers you the unique opportunity to combine a German
course with golfing. Depending on your course level you learn German
in small and international groups in the mornings or afternoons
while you can spend the rest of the day and the weekends golfing
or enjoying one of the many other leisure activities provided by
ActiLingua Academy or by Vienna
itself.
All presented Golfclubs lie within easy distance from language school
and city centre.

courses improving your German proficiency. The rest of the day and
the weekends you can tee off at some of the most beautiful golf
courses in Vienna.

As a beginner it is often difficult
to find a golf club where you can use the course as well and are
not restricted to teeing off at the driving range... All golf clubs
which are listed in the 'Advanced golfers' section offer facilities
(driving range) for beginners, however we have found one club that
will allow you to golf on its public course as well:

There is a public course (6 holes par 3) for EVERYBODY. No handicap
or membership.

Advanced Golfers
Depending on your handicap you can choose from various golf clubs
in the vincinity of Vienna. Don't forget your membership pass from
your local golf club which is essential to be allowed to golf on
the course.
Club Danube Golf-Wien, Süssenbrunn
This 18 holes par 72 golf course (championship course) in
Süssenbrunn is only half an hour away from school.
Membership (i.e. in your local golf club) is required.
There is a 6 holes par 18 course (public course) for EVERYBODY.
No handicap or membership required.

Golf Club am Wienerberg
To golf at "Golf Club am Wienerberg" is a unique
experience: Only 30 minutes by public transport (U6 or Badner Bahn)
from the city centre you are in the midst of famous Vienna woods
(Wienerwald).
Membership (i.e. in your local golf club) is required. The golf
course is slightly hilly and challenging. (9 holes par 70, SSS 70,
5.750 m long).
