Special Family Programme
- Easy combination of summer courses for youths and courses for parents and other family members in the heart of Vienna
- We can arrange accommodation in an ActiLingua Residence Family Apartment, a host family, or a hotel
- Included cultural and leisure programme in the afternoons and evenings, optional trips and excursions at the weekends
Summer School 12-17 years and Holiday Course 16-19 years
Lessons are held in small, international groups of maximum 15 students from Monday to Friday. You will practice grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and oral comprehension in systematically structured lessons. Emphasis is placed on German in real-life situations outside school, communicative language games and working in groups and pairs. You can choose between our Summer Course 1 / Holiday Course 1 (20 lessons/week) and Summer Course 2 / Holiday Course 2 (30 lessons/week).
Course location
The Summer School 12-17 years is located in central Vienna and within easy reach of public transportation. In the middle of the campus a big park combines leisure and sports facilities, available for all students after lessons. It is only 20 minutes away by public transport from our school where the Holiday Course 16-19 years and the Adult Courses 16+ take place.
Adult Courses 16+
While their children are at school in the morning, parents and other adult family members have the option of also taking a course at ActiLingua Academy: Standard Course, Intensive Course, Super-Intensive Course or Individual Tuition.
Your free time
Families are welcome to join our leisure programme that will keep them entertained after class and at the weekends. They can choose between included activities such as sports, Viennese Waltz courses, city walks and disco evenings, and optional leisure activities like half- and whole-day excursions, our Culture Special and concerts or musicals. Of course, families are free outside class to spend time enjoying Vienna’s extensive leisure time facilities by themselves.
