Arrival in Vienna:
Day of arrival is normally Sunday. It is possible to consult with
our booking office, and arrange an alternative day of arrival.
- Airport-Transfer: Go to Airport-Driver.at
or call +43-1-22822. Transfer can be booked online and is ususally
cheaper than taking a normal taxi or than booking airport transfer
directly at the airport. We are happy to organize the transfer
for you, too.
- Bus:
From the airport you should take the bus to the „Wien-Suedbahnhof“
station and then a taxi to your accommodation. The price of the
bus is: EUR 6 one-way, EUR 11 return. Times of departure: every
30 minutes from 6.05 am to 0.05 pm. Length of trip: approx. 30
min.
- Train: From the airport you should take the
„City Airport Train“ to station Wien-Mitte –
„City Air Terminal“ and then a taxi to your accommodation.
Price of the train is EUR 8 one way, EUR 15 return. Time of departure:
every 30 minutes from 6.05 am to 11.35 pm. Length of trip: 16
minutes. On departure you can check-in directly at Wien-Mitte
– „City Air Terminal“. More information is available

ActiLingua Transfer Service
If you have pre-booked our transfer service, and provided us with
the precise details of your arrival in advance, you will be met
by a driver holding a sign with your name and an ActiLingua logo
on it. You will be met by a driver either at the airport (in the
arrivals hall) or at the railway station (directly on the platform
).

Entry to Austria & Visa Information
Should you need a visa for Austria, please ensure that you leave
enough time to complete the relevant paper work. For the latest
information on visa requirements, contact the Austrian embassy or
consulate in your country. More
Information
In Austria, all residents need to register their stay at the local
registration office within 3 days of their arrival. Your host will
be happy to tell you how to find the local office. Office hours
are usually Monday to Friday 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.. In order to
register successfully you will need a valid passport (no copies!)
and the appropriate registration form for foreign nationals. The
form needs to be signed by your host. Before you leave, you will
also need to give this office notice of your departure.
In case of illness or accident
Please notify the school office immediately. We will call a doctor
for you if necessary and try and help you as swiftly as possible.
Our staff will support you as much as possible.
Insurance
If you are from a European Union country, please bring your E-Card,
E111 form or your "European Medical Insurance Card" which
will automatically entitle you to medical treatment in Austria;
otherwise please do not forget to take out adequate health insurance
before you leave home. If you wish to take out health, accident,
liability and luggage insurance directly in Vienna , you can do
so on the day of your arrival as follows: Costs: EUR 15 / week
