Technical information
What is a podcast?
A podcast is a digital-media file (e.g. audio or video file) which
is distributed over the internet. It is based on a script called
RSS. This feed format enables the digital-media files to be automatically
transferred to a mobile device. Podcasts allow the user to watch
or listen to the files on their computer, iPod, mp3-player, mobile
phone and other portable devices which support media files. The
user is able to play and replay the podcast whenever and wherever
he wants to.

Requirements:
All you need to listen to the podcast is a browser that supports
podcasts (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Internet-Explorer 7 or Opera) or
a feed reader capable of reading feed formats such as RSS (e.g.
“RSS Bandid” or “KlipFolio” which are free
to download)

How it works:
Because of the technical background (RSS feeds) the files are downloaded
automatically when new content is added. You won’t miss a
lecture because every day a new word is downloaded automatically
to your computer. Every day from Monday through Thursday. At the
end you will have improved your German skills – comfortably
and easily.
Benefits:
The vocabulary trainer makes learning German easier and you will
improve soon: Every day from Monday through Thursday a new lecture
is downloaded automatically. To support the progress you can repeat
the previous lectures and practise the new ones provided by ActiLingua
- learning German can be that easy!
