Where are you from?
How long have you been studying German?
I have been learning German since May, which is approximately for seven months.
Why did you choose ActiLingua?
Some people, who found out about ActiLingua, recommended this school to me. Furthermore, I searched for information on the internet and the students’ experiences convinced me!
What do you especially like about ActiLingua?
The atmosphere is comfortable and pleasant: You feel at home and at the same time, you meet new people from all over the world. I especially liked the teachers. They are nice, friendly and always helpful.
Why did you choose Vienna?
I would like to live and work in Austria. Vienna is the capital city: There are many people and many possibilities to gain experiences. Vienna is beautiful. How can you choose another city?
What do you like most about Vienna?
The people and museums.
What is your favorite place in Vienna?
My favorite place is the MuseumsQuartier. There, you can visit museums and have fun.
What is a must-do in Vienna?
You have to visit the Belvedere, go hiking in the Vienna Woods and go for a walk in the inner city.
What do you have to eat or drink in Vienna?
It is simple: First of all Wiener Schnitzel! You have to eat Sacher cake and apple strudel, too.
How many “Schnitzel“ have you eaten already?
Many! 20? 30? I can’t remember.
What is typically Austrian?
Swimming in the Danube! I do not know how you can swim in cold water … But it is possible and typically Austrian.
What is your favorite German word?
„Genau“! („Exactly!“) A short, simple and melodic word. (This is rare in German)
What is your summary about Vienna?
Vienna is a city in which the past and the future come together. Vienna is a big international city and a famous European cultural centre. I am very happy about the opportunity of being here.
