We are continuing our teacher profile series. Today, we meet Deborah.
How long have you been teaching at ActiLingua?
Since March 2015.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
At ActiLingua Academy, people from many different cultures get together. You get to know so many new people. Of course, the colleagues contribute to the fun in the job.
Is there a story from your time as an ActiLingua teacher, which you can share?
I can tell you a lovely anecdote! 🙂 A school class aged 10-14 from the Czech Republic spent a week at ActiLingua. At the end of the course, the students used their pocket money to buy me a gift.
What do you like to do most during your time off in Vienna?
Most of the time I hang out with friends. I like to cycle through the city in the summer.
Which bar could you recommend to our ActiLingua students?
Café Liebling in Zollergasse. There, you can find a great atmosphere which reminds me of pubs in Berlin. 🙂
What is your personal sightseeing tip for people visiting Vienna?
I’m a huge fan of the aquamarine zoo!
