Vienna Airport
Vienna Airport is less than 20 km (12 mi) away from Vienna and well connected to the city centre. Getting to the city centre is possible by airport transfer, bus or express train.
You can also pre-book a transfer with ActiLingua Academy. In this case, you will be met by a driver with an ActiLingua sign with your name on it in the arrival hall of Vienna airport. www.airportdriver.at
Bratislava Airport (Slovakia, SK) is approximately 64 km (40 mi) away from Vienna!
Your day of arrival is Sunday. After consultation with our booking office, you can also arrange an alternative day of arrival.
- Airport-Transfer: Go to airportdriver.at or call +43-1-22822. A transfer can be booked online and is usually cheaper than taking a normal taxi or taking an airport transfer directly from the airport. We would be happy to organize the transfer for you. >> Pick-up location
- Train: From the airport you should take the „City Airport Train“ to station "Wien-Mitte" – „City Air Terminal“ and then a taxi to your accommodation. Time of departure: every 30 minutes. Length of trip: 16 minutes. On departure you can check-in directly at "Wien-Mitte" – „City Air Terminal“.
More information on www.cityairporttrain.com - Suburban rail network: The suburban rail train number "S7" will take you directly into the city centre – station „Wien Mitte“. The journey from the airport to "Wien Mitte" takes approximately 25 minutes. Trains depart every 30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased from machines on the platform. Having arrived at "Wien Mitte", we would advise taking a taxi to your accommodation.

Bus Airport - Wien Meidling/Westbahnhof: Times of departure: every 30 minutes. Length of trip: approx. 45 min. Bus Airport - Wien Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz: Times of departure: every 30 minutes. Length of trip: approx. 22 minutes.

If you book our transfer service and tell us your exact arrival time in advance, you will be met by a driver holding a sign with your name on it. You will be met by a driver either at the airport (in the arrivals hall) or at the railway station.

In Austria, all residents need to register their stay at the local registration office within 3 days of their arrival. Your host will be happy to tell you how to find the local office. Office hours are usually Monday to Friday 08:00 am to 01:00 pm. In order to register successfully you will need a valid passport (no copy!) and the appropriate registration form for foreign nationals. The form needs to be signed by your host. Before you leave, you will also need to give the office notice of your departure
In case of illness or injury
Please inform the school office immediately. If you require medical treatment, your host or the school office will make an appointment with a doctor. Our staff will assist you as well as possible.
Insurance:
If you are a citizen of the European Union, please bring along your E-Card, an E111 form or your "European Medical Insurance Card" which will automatically entitle you to medical treatment in Austria. Otherwise please do not forget to take out adequate health insurance before you leave home. If you wish to take out health, accident, liability and luggage insurance directly in Vienna, you can do so on your day of arrival in our school office. Price upon request.
