Standard German Course in Vienna

Improve your German step by step in small international groups and gain confidence in everyday communication.

Our Standard German Course is ideal for students who want to build a solid foundation in German while enjoying enough time to experience Vienna. The course focuses on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and active communication, helping you use German in real-life situations from the very beginning.

The course includes 25 lessons per week: 20 German lessons in class plus 5 culture and language acquisition lessons.

The 5 culture and language acquisition lessons are a compulsory part of the course and an important element of our successful learning method. They help students experience German beyond the classroom through Vienna, Austrian culture and everyday communication.

You learn in small international groups with an average of 8–10 students and a maximum of 12 students per class. After class, you still have time for self-study, exploring Vienna or relaxing.

    4 lessons/day from Monday – Friday. (1 lesson = 45 minutes)

    An integral part of our learning method. Use German beyond classroom while discovering Vienna trough guided city walks, cultural talks, music, art, history and literature, Viennese Waltz, Austrian traditions, local nighbourhoods and authentic experiences beyond the usual tourist routes.

  • ActiLingua Certificate.

  • Course books may be borrowed for the whole course. New books can be purchased at a discounted price.

  • Student support at the school office: Monday-Friday.

  • Free internet access in the school.
