In cooperation with the Vienna Beethoven Conservatory, ActiLingua Academy in Vienna offers an opportunity to combine a German course with music studies.
5 lessons culture & language acquisition program are organised 2 to 3 times per week and are included in the price.
Music lessons at the Vienna Beethoven Group, Music Conservatory for Music Students, Professionals and Enthusiastic Amateurs.
Central Artistic Subjects: Vocal Training, Keyboard Instruments, String Instruments, Wind Instruments, Percussion.
Individual Lessons: One individual instrumental (e.g., violin, piano, clarinet) or vocal lesson per week (EUR 120 / 50 min) – min lessons are 4 bookable.

Course Details
German course
German course of your choice with 20 to 30 German lessons and 5 lessons (2-3 times) of cultural and special interest classes per week. You study German for 4 or 6 lessons daily from Monday to Friday in small international groups, following a recognized curriculum. Our cultural programme with its Vienna city walks, talks and other activities promotes insights into Austrian culture and music.
- Standard Course: You study German in 20 lessons per week. 5 lessons of cultural and leisure programme per week are included in the price.
- Intensive Course: You study German in 30 lessons per week: 20 lessons Standard Course + 10 lessons in mini-groups of max. 8 students. 5 lessons of cultural and leisure programme per week are included in the price.

Culture/Special interest Programme
Cultural and leisure activities are organized 2 to 3 times per week (5 lessons) and are included in the price. Talks, discussions on Austrian music, art, literature, tours of the sights of Vienna, parties and sports – all form part of this programme.
Music Lessons at the Vienna Beethoven Group, Music Conservatory
Music lessons can be booked as an additional option in combination with a German course of at least 4 weeks.
Participants may choose individual instrumental or vocal lessons, or a combination of individual lessons and group lectures in music history and solfeggio.
Examples of individual lessons include violin, piano, clarinet or voice.
Music lessons take place at the Vienna Beethoven Group, Music Conservatory.

No music lessons take place during conservatory holidays. Lessons missed due to conservatory holidays cannot be made up.

Applicants’ requirements
- Beginners of German can start the German course and practical music lessons at the same time.
- Good knowledge of German is necessary to follow the lessons at the Vienna Beethoven Conservatory.
